Judging Time: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Location: Carter Hall & UC East Conference Rooms, USI University Center West
Awards Ceremony: March 16, 2026 at 6 p.m., Performance Center, USI
Who Can Participate: Public, private, parochial, and homeschool K-12 students living within a 75-mile radius of the USI campus.

The University of Southern Indiana's Tri-State Science and Engineering Fair provides opportunities for K-12th grade students to showcase their interest in scientific research, receive community recognition for their achievements, and potentially advance to next-level competition at the state-level (Hoosier Science and Engineering Fair). Students may enter in one of the following categories:  

Animal Sciences Mathematics
Behaviors and Social Sciences Medicine and Health Sciences
Chemistry Microbiology and Molecular/Cellular Biology
Earth and Environmental Sciences Physics and Astronomy
Energy: Physical and Chemical Plant Sciences
Engineering Robotics, Computers, and Systems Software

Many prizes and cash awards will be presented to students at the conclusion of the fair!
