Microsoft OneNote is a program for freeform information gathering and multiuser collaboration. It gathers user notes, drawings, screen clippings and audio commentaries. Notes can be shared with other OneNote users over a network or the Internet.

Participants in this beginning course will learn the following:

  • Creating a notebook
  • Organizing a notebook with notes, pages and sections
  • Typing notes into a notebook
  • Adding pages and formatting notes
  • How to add links, audio and video content to a notebook
  • Drawing in a notebook
  • How to tag, search and print notes
  • Sharing a notebook with other users in edit or view modes
  • Attaching files
  • Export and backup notebooks
