My overarching interest in research lies in developing theoretically innovative work with applications to real-world problems. My research broadly focuses on common issues students face every day such as lack of effort and motivation by targeting self-handicapping behaviors and social norms. I'm also interested in examining how we can apply psychology theories to help students succeed through the Science of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
