Resilient Evansville is a volunteer organization that works to help build resiliency in youth. Bonnie Rinks, LCSW, USI Director of Field Education in Social Work, assisted in facilitating trainings throughout the community for agencies who serve Youth, and families.
The training is based on the works of Dr. Kenneth Ginsburg, MD, at the Center for Parent and Teen Communication, and Child Psychologist, Dr. Michele Barba, who has written many books including Thrivers: The Surprising Reasons Why Some Kids Struggle and Others Shine.
