Anthropology Club

The Anthropology Club at the University of Southern Indiana is open to any student with an interest in anthropology.

Art Club

The purpose of the USI Art Club is to bring awareness of the visual arts to the university and the community. Membership in the USI Art Club is open to all USI students.

Candid

Candid Magazine is a student run biannual publication focusing on art, fashion and editorial.

Ethics Bowl Team

Every year the Philosophy Department coordinates the selection and training of an Ethics Bowl Team that competes in a nationwide competition.

Global Awareness Project

The Global Awareness Project is a student-based organization dedicated to promoting awareness of international issues, cultural diversity and involvement in international philanthropic activities.

International Club

The International Club, or iClub, is a very active organization on campus. The club is made up of both American and international students, and it focuses on promoting unity, understanding and friendship. Membership is open to all students at the University of Southern Indiana.

Philosophy Club

The Philosophy Club is dedicated to the promulgation of philosophical knowledge and philosophical debate among the University of Southern Indiana student body and the community at large.

Photo Club

Photo Club is part of Art Club. Any student interested in photography or art can join.

Political Science Society

The Political Science Society is open to students in all majors and minors interested in political issues. A major in political science is not required to join the club.

Pre-Law Club

The Pre-Law Club at the University of Southern Indiana is open to all students interested in a career in law.

Psychology Club

The Psychology Club welcomes USI students in any major who are interested in psychology.

Public Relations Student Society of America

The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) is a national pre-professional student organization with chapters on college campuses throughout the United States that helps students network with PR professionals.

Social Work Club

The Social Work Club at the University of Southern Indiana specifically assists undergraduate students in social work.

Sociology Club

Sociology students are social! We have opportunities for students to be a part of the department and wider community. The club is open to any USI students interested in sociology.

STELLAR

"STudents and ELderly Linking Around Relationships" strives to develop positive relationships among students and elders within the community.

Student Media

Student-run publications are vital to the University community and culture by providing information and opinions about campus, local and world events. These publications and media outlets also allow students to build their journalism, design, communication and radio skills before they enter the workforce, often winning awards while they do so.

Student Writers Union

The Student Writers Union at the University of Southern Indiana is an active group of students interested in creative writing, editing and publishing. The group meets weekly to workshop members' own creative writing, discuss ideas and theories related to the process of writing and talk about new books of interest.

World Languages & Cultures Club

The WLC Club at the University of Southern Indiana offers the opportunity to make new friends who share an interest in learning about different languages offered a t USI and there cultures.

Honor Societies


English - Sigma Tau Delta

Sigma Tau Delta is an international English honor society. The University of Southern Indiana's Mu Phi chapter is a fun, lively, energetic and goal-directed group of outstanding students.

Foreign Language - Alpha Mu Gamma

Alpha Mu Gamma is the National Collegiate Foreign Language Honor Society. The University of Southern Indiana is home to the Nu Upsilon chapter.

Global Studies - Sigma Iota Rho

The purpose of Sigma Iota Rho shall be to promote and reward scholarship and service among students and practitioners of international studies, international affairs, and global studies and to foster integrity and creative performance in the conduct of world affairs.

History - Phi Alpha Theta

Phi Alpha Theta is the national history honors society. The University of Southern Indiana's Alpha Delta Kappa chapter was established in 1988.

Political Science - Pi Sigma Alpha

Pi Sigma Alpha is the national political science honor society. The University of Southern Indiana's Upsilon Zeta chapter inducts new members during each spring semester.

Psychology - Psi Chi

Psi Chi is the international honor society in psychology, with over 600,000 members. The University of Indiana has an active student Psi Chi chapter on campus.

Social Work - Phi Alpha

Phi Alpha is a highly selective honor society for social work undergraduate (BSW) and graduate (MSW) students with over 450 chapters in the United States.

Social Work - Delta Phi Chapter of Sigma Phi Omega

Delta Phi is the USI Chapter of Sigma Phi Omega (SPO), the national academic honor and professional society in gerontology, was established in 1980 to recognize excellence of those who study gerontology and aging and the outstanding service of professionals who work with or on behalf of older persons.

Sociology - Alpha Kappa Delta

Alpha Kappa Delta (ΑΚΔ) is a non-secret, democratic organization founded in 1920 by Dr. Emory S. Bogardus. It is an international honor society of sociology, and has over 80,000 members and more than 490 chapters established around the world. Membership is eligible to sociology majors with an overall GPA of 3.3

Theatre - Alpha Psi Omega

Alpha Psi Omega is a national theatre honor society. The University of Southern Indiana is home to the Phi Omicron chapter.
