From: Evansville, Indiana

Currently lives in: Evansville, Indiana

What is your current occupation?
I am currently a Certified Personal Trainer and the head Nutrition Coach at BFit by Bob's Gym.

What brought you to USI?
After my two years playing baseball at Vincennes University, I wanted to find a college that was close to home and met my academic needs. USI met both of those requirements and exceeded all expectations.

Please tell us how the College of Nursing and Health Professions prepared you for your career.
The College of Nursing and Health Professions provided me with hands-on experiences through in-class projects and assignments. This helped me feel more comfortable and confident not only in graduate school and my didactic internship but also in real-life situations every day at my job.

Were you in any clubs, organizations, athletics?
I was a member of Food and Nutrition Student Organization while at USI.

What has been your favorite memory of your time at USI?
My favorite memory of my time at USI is our multicultural food project and being able to not only prepare cuisine from another culture but also share it with our professors and taste the cultural cuisines my classmates had prepared.

What would you tell someone who is thinking of coming to USI?
To anyone who is considering coming to USI, say yes without hesitation. This university has staff, alumni, and students that care about you and your success. I felt nothing but welcomed and accepted the second I stepped foot on campus and will forever value the friendships and relationships I developed during my time there.
