Submit the online application by the required deadline:
February 15 – Summer Internship
April 15 – Fall Internship
September 15 – Spring Internship
These deadlines allow time for interviews, processing, and affiliation agreement setup. Missing a deadline may delay graduation.
During HP475, you will receive a list of potential placement sites.
Meet with potential preceptors for interviews.
Ask informed questions about duties, projects, supervision, scheduling, and expectations.
After interviewing, schedule an appointment with the Career Success Center (812-464-1865) for placement coordination.
Once you accept an internship:
Notify the Internship Program Coordinator.
Submit the HP480 Work Agreement (and CPT form if applicable).
You are expected to honor the commitment.
Students should plan to be on-site at least two days per week.
After all forms and requirements are approved, the department will issue a Notice to Register with instructions and the CRN. Students then register online.
