Food and Nutrition Facilities
The Health Professions Center houses the College of Nursing and Health Professions and the Food and Nutrition program. Food and Nutrition facilities include these training areas:
- Our Quantity Foods Kitchen features a variety of state-of-the-art food preparation equipment and a cooking demonstration station.
- An assessment lab is used for completing anthropometrics, body composition, blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol measurements.
- A counseling and education room houses up-to-date nutrition education materials, models, curriculum, journals, and audio visuals. Students also use this space to meet with actual clients, either in-person or through telehealth, to assist with nutrition needs.
- Our interdisciplinary Learning Resource Center houses computers that incorporate software for analyzing recipes, diets or working with data.
