Information regarding the College of Nursing and Health Profession’s essential functions that are necessary to meet the clinical/practice/field/work can be found in the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Profession’s Handbook.
The immunization schedule must follow the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions’ Infection Control Policy.
Students are required to follow the college infection control policy regarding maintenance of health records, immunization requirements and TB testing and/or certificate.
Each student:
Students may report any change in health status to the clinical coordinator and/or the program chair. Students who disclose a pregnancy will be referred to the Title IX office for guidance and support. If a student experiences a change in health status, including pregnancy, surgery, hospitalization or any medical restrictions that impacts their ability to participate in class or clinical, the student may be required to provide a physician’s release or documentation clearing them to safely resume class and/or clinical experiences.
Students are expected to have healthcare insurance while enrolled in the program. The student is responsible for all costs related to their health care, including any costs associated with any type of clinical exposure, while enrolled in the program
