The Stone Family Center for Health Sciences is a collaborative effort between three universities: the University of Southern Indiana, University of Evansville and Indiana University School of Medicine - Evansville. The goal is to shape future role models through learning and innovation and improve healthcare in the region.

USI's section of the building is home to the Occupational Therapy (OT) Program, and juniors and seniors in the undergraduate BSN Nursing Program also attend classes at the Stone Center.

The building opened in 2018 at the start of the Fall Semester and is named in honor of an Evansville family. Bill Stone, along with his wife Mary, donated $15 million in support of the mission and collaboration between the Universities and hospital partners. Stone, an Evansville native, founded Connecticut-based SS&C Technologies, Inc. in 1986. All monies from the gift are used to support the respective health sciences programs developed and implemented in the center by the three partner institutions.

USI's space includes the Dr. Victor V. Schriefer, Jr. Classroom in recognition of a generous gift from Schriefer, a longtime University friend, USI Foundation Life Director, member of the President's Circle and recipient of an honorary Doctor of Science degree in 2008.

The address of the Stone Family Center for Health Sciences is 515 Bob Jones Way, Evansville, Indiana, 47708.
