The Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions led a trip to the University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule) Osnabrück (UAS Osnabrück) in Germany at the end of the spring semester, giving USI students a unique opportunity for collaborative study, health facilities tours and cultural experiences.
"My Kinney College Block Week experience was amazing," says Shay Wilson. "I got to make meaningful new friendships with incredible people in health professions at USI and internationally! I made connections I never would have gotten the chance to make if I did not decide to go on this trip. This trip was so worth the time, and I encourage anybody who has the opportunity to take this trip to take it."
USI's Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions students participated alongside 15-20 undergraduate and graduate health management students in Osnabrück, Germany, in a weeklong experience involving collaborative study, health facilities tours and cultural experiences. The success of this program is based on merging U.S. and German students together in terms of discussion and intercultural experiences. At the conclusion of the block week in Osnabrück, the group traveled to Berlin for a weekend excursion.
