Southern Roots Student Growers
The aim of Southern Roots Student Growers is to introduce growing practices to students and show students that growing food can be simple, fun, and lead to healthier living. The organization also aims to educate students on the importance of sustainable agriculture for the future of food. Skills and knowledge learned through the organization will hopefully be applied later in life, after graduation of its members.
