Located on the University's campus in Evansville, Indiana, USI Dental Clinic patients can expect a thorough assessment of their needs, oral health consultation and dental hygiene care and treatment based on the evaluation.
All services are performed by students who are supervised and evaluated by faculty members. Services provided include:
The USI Dental Clinic does not provide treatments by a dentist, such as extracting teeth, filling teeth or root canal treatment.
Patients can plan on approximately 3.5 hours being devoted to their care. Please keep this in mind when making an appointment. Upon completion of treatment, patients are recommended to make an appointment with their own dentist for an examination and any dental treatment needed.
If a patient has a medical condition which requires consultation with a physician, treatment may be delayed until written approval for treatment is received from your physician.

Cancellation Policy
If you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please call the office within 24 hours at 812-464-1706 to cancel or reschedule. After two missed or cancelled appointments without the appropriate 24-hour notice, you will be dismissed as a patient at this facility.

Veterans receive free treatment with proof of military affiliation and photo identification.
Dental hygiene treatment includes radiographs and sealants, if warranted.
When requested by a dentist and dental hygiene treatment is not provided, fees are as follows:

As a patient in our clinic, you have the right to expect:
Clinic faculty reserves the right to ask any persons to retire to the reception area if their presence is disrupting the clinical setting and educational experience of the students. If the person(s) in question do not respond appropriately to such request, faculty should call 7777 for intervention deemed necessary from the University of Southern Indiana Public Safety department.
Patients deemed disruptive to the learning environment may be prohibited from completing treatment in the USI Dental Clinic and dismissed from future care.
The Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Southern Indiana is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association, a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation and by the United States Department of Education.
